The NGO World Expresses Appreciation for JICA’s Vital Support in Advancing Education

In a commendable effort to enhance educational quality, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) collaborated with the Directorate of Literacy & Non-Formal Education Department, Government of Sindh, for a transformative initiative. The “Advancing Quality Alternative Learning” (AQAL) project recently orchestrated a Five-Day Training of Trainers (TOT) on Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) Primary (Package C). Following the success of a prior 6-day TOT in November 2023, supervisors from ZEST Schools Project Karachi, affiliated with The NGO World Foundation, actively participated. This recent TOT, conducted from January 29 to February 2, 2024, at the Institute for Educational Development in Karachi, aimed to establish a proficient pool of master trainers. These trainers will empower others in offering technical assistance to tutors within Non-Formal Education (NFE) centers, further contributing to educational development.

The NGO World Foundation expresses deep appreciation for the crucial role played by JICA and stakeholders in this commendable initiative. Anticipating that participants from the ZSST project of The NGO World will serve as key master trainers, the organization assures that it will maximize the benefits derived from this collaborative effort towards advancing educational quality.
