The NGO World acknowledges teachers on International Teachers’ Day

World Teachers’ Day, also known as International Teachers’ Day, is observed on October 5 every year. World Teachers’ Day focuses on “appreciating, assessing and improving the educators of the world” and to provide an opportunity to address issues related to teachers and teaching. Every year, a theme is chosen by the UNESCO to mark the day. This year’s World Teachers’ Day theme was: “The right to education means the right to a qualified teacher.”

To pay tribute to the services of teachers of ZEST schools, The NGO World arranged a trip to Sunway Lagoon, Karachi. 107 teachers of ZEST schools participated in the trip. The day-long trip was full of entertainment, knowledge, appreciation, encouragement, and reward. Mr. Sardar Shakeel, lead the trip.

Mr. Shakeel paid tribute to the services of all teachers and supervisor. He told that due to the commitment and hardworking of teachers, ZEST project is now a model project for others.

In the end, Teachers have been presented Shields, gifts and appreciation certificates from Mr. Shakeel.
