“How to Be Successful” session organised by TNW for CUST Volunteers .

We all have different goals and priorities, which mean that different activities and attitudes will make us feel good about ourselves. So how is it that we can define success for each individual based upon his or her natural strengths and weaknesses as well as inherited personality type? To be successful is to understand what is important to you, to recognize your weaknesses without hiding behind them, to strive for balance as well as open new doors in life.

It is certain that success comes to those who are sincere, hardworking, dedicated and committed to their goals. It is very important for all. Success has great effect on life. It brings pleasure and pride. It gives a sense of fulfillment. It means all around development. Everybody aspires to be successful in life. But success comes to those who have a proper strategy, planning, vision and stamina. A proper and timely application of all these things is bound to bear fruit. One cannot be successful without cultivating certain basic things in life.

Keep the importance of this topic in mind, The NGO World organized a session on “How to Be Successful” for CUST Volunteers for its VIS Program 2019. Mr. Sajjad Nayyer, Manager Resource Mobilization conducted the session. The session consist of the following topics:
Identify your Passions.
Make a list of your goals and achieve them.
Live Purposefully.
Be Educated.
Manage your Finances.
Manage your Time.
Achieve internal Success.
Enjoy the Present Moment.
Don’t compare your life to others Lives.
Count your Blessings.
Look after your Health.

Students done group work, discussion, presentation and questions & answers. It was a participatory sessions based on some factual stories and experiments. Students expressed that this was a very important session, in which they learnt a lot to how they can be successful. They had come to know some very new things to be successful.
