[vc_row 0=””][vc_column][vc_column_text 0=””]29 June 2019, Karachi: In appreciation of their efforts towards non-formal education and enrollment of out of school children, Directorate of Literacy and Non-formal Education, Sindh and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) presented a certificate of appreciation to The NGO World Foundation during a seminar arranged in Agha Khan University Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED) Karachi to disseminate findings of a year-long study which examined efficacy of non-formal basic education (NFBE) curriculum and materials for quality teaching and learning processes.
The AKU-IED carried out the study in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (Jica) and Department of Literacy and Non-formal Education Sind in the 16 newly established NFBE centers set up by JICA and The NGO World Foundation.
