TNW Representative Joined Two Days Brainstorming Session on Non-Formal Education

Project Manager ZEST-NFE, Mr. Shakeel Ahmad represented THE NGO WORLD at Two Days Brainstorming Session on STEM in Non-Formal Education organized by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Advanced Quality Alternative Learning (AQAL) Project Phase II in collaboration with Directorate of Literacy & Non-Formal Education (DLNFE), Directorate of Curriculum Assessment and Research (DCAR) and TAF Foundation, held on 21st and 22nd September 2021. The session was hosted by TAF Foundation.

The objective of this brainstorming session was to initiate dialogue and develop a mechanism where STEM concepts through inquiry-based and experimental learning can be introduced in NFE centers from packages A to E.

The session was graced by Dr Fauzia Khan (Chief Advisor/ Additional Secretary, School Education Department), Asghar Memon (Director, DCAR), Manzoor Ahmed (Deputy Director, DLNFE), Farman Ali Khan (Senior Program Coordinator, Save the Children), Dr Dilshad Ashraf (Associate Professor, AKU-IED) Maham Ali (Public Relations Advisor, Dawood Foundation), Dr. Hina Hussain Kazmi (CEO, TAF Foundation), amongst other members from the government and local authorities. The two-day session was moderated by Mr. Prem Sagar (JICA).
