Dubai, UAE – May 1, 2025: The NGO World proudly participated as an Official Media Partner at the 21st Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition (DIHAD 2025), held from April 29 to May 1 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The prestigious event, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, was inaugurated by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture.

This year’s theme, “Humanitarian Aid and Development in a Polarised World,” brought together over 18,000 participants, including key decision-makers from UN agencies, international NGOs, charitable foundations, and private sector leaders from 160 countries. The event featured 131 expert speakers, 64 main sessions, and 197 specialized workshops focused on creating innovative, inclusive, and sustainable solutions for global crises.

Representing The NGO World, Founding Chairman Mr. Zafar Iqbal led the organization’s presence at the event, highlighting its 15-year legacy of implementing impactful humanitarian and development projects. With a wide digital outreach, an established magazine, and a consistent voice in international observances like World NGO Day, The NGO World was recognized for its role in connecting grassroots experiences with global discourse.

The organization’s participation as a Media Partner underscored its ongoing commitment to amplifying the voices of vulnerable communities, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and contributing to the global humanitarian narrative through responsible media engagement.
