April 7, 2025 – Bahawalpur, The NGO World team, led by Chairman Mr. Zafar Iqbal, visited the Department of Social Work at Islamia University Bahawalpur. The team was warmly received by Dr. Asif Ranjha, Chairman of the department, who briefed them about the university’s academic environment and specifically highlighted the department’s commitment to nurturing students for the cause of social good.

Dr. Ranjha elaborated on the various initiatives and practical exposures being provided to students to equip them as future change-makers in society. Mr. Zafar Iqbal expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the generous hospitality and the insightful discussion. He appreciated the department’s dedication to producing socially responsible professionals.

The meeting was attended by senior faculty members, who also shared their experiences and aspirations for enhancing collaboration between academia and nonprofit organizations.
