The NGO World organised orientation session about PM’s EHSAAS

The NGO World Organized an Orientation Session on “PM’s Poverty Alleviation Program “EHSAAS” “Ehsaas” is the flagship program of the present Government and is aimed at addressing the issue of poverty alleviation in a comprehensive manner: It is mutual responsibility of public, private and social sector to transparently ensured the implementation of this program.To feel this responsibility, The NGO World organized an orientation session on “PM’s Poverty Alleviation Ehsaas Program” in collaboration with National Council of Social Welfare. The event was organized at NCSW office, Islamabad.Representatives from Government departments, NPOs, NGOs, University students and community members attended the session. Session was inaugurated by Ms. Wajiha Akram, Parliamentary Secretary. Mr. Atiq MirzaAdviser Of TNW delivered welcome speech and introduction of The NGO World. Later on, Mr. Sajjad Nayyer, Manager Resource Mobilization, TNW presented BARKAT program to audience. BARKAT is a poverty alleviation program through livestock support to marginalized and disadvantaged community. This program is directly linked and associated with Ehsaas program.Mr. Sarim Bukhari, Project Director, Centre for Social Entrepreneurship Program, Mr. Nisar Ahmed, Deputy Chief Planning & Development, addressed to audience and threw light on the program and shared the importance of social responsibilities.Chief Guest of the event, Ms. Kanwal Shouzeb, Parliamentary Secretary m/o Planning & Development shared the detail of Ehsaas program. She also shared the vision on PM on this and role of public private partnership to execute this across the country. Dr. Nadeem Shafiq Malik, Chairman, NCSW thanked to all participant for attended this session. He specially thanked to The NGO World for facilitating in organizing this program. In the last, he presented Shields to Chief Guest, Guest of Honor and Speakers.
