On 5th June 2013, The NGO World celebrated World Environment Day 2013 among the students of RIDA Girls Education and Training Center at Khanewal. Realizing the importance of this global issue, Mr. Zafar Iqbal (Founder, The NGO World) himself participated in the event and delivered a session on the importance of this theme. Management of the center arranged a poster making contest among the students that was an amazing part of the day. Young students prepared posters on various relevant themes, displayed and then presented among the audience. Judges of the event evaluated their effort and awarded the winners. Students, teachers and community representatives were present during the celebration events. At the occasion, young girls proved that they are very well aware about the environmental issues and realize the role they need to play for saving their environment.
