World NGO Day is intended to Celebrate, Commemorate and Connect all Non-Governmental or Non-Profit Organizations and to further enhance the role and capacity of NGOs to continue their vital activities and contribution to society. In addition, it is an international memorial day in honor of all founders, employees, volunteers, members and supporters of these important organizations worldwide who have given their lives – in whole or in part to such work. Mr. Zafar Iqbal (Founder, The NGO World) and Goodwill Ambassador of World NGO Day in Pakistan has been organizing events on the day of NGOs since 2014 in Islamabad.
For 2020 it is decided to spread the message of the day to maximum audience around the country. In this regards, your organization can avail the opportunity of being partner in celebrating the World NGO Day and become ambassador of World NGO Day in your district. Interested organizations can submit the APPLICATION FORM before close of 25th of October 2019. TORs and MOU draft will be discussed after receiving the form.
